She's A Little Bit Of Heaven With A Wild Side

I finally finished Arden's Nursery! It only took me 9 months... We love playing in her room and reading books. Its one of her favorite things to do these days. Being this little girls mommy is the best job ever.

Slowly but surely her nursery has been coming together. The triangle decal wall was the finishing touch.

I am so happy with how it turned out!

Love Grows Best In Little Houses

For now we are staying in a 2 bed/2 bath apartment. We are lucky to be renting from Jaden's cousin who is giving us a great deal. Me and Jade can't wait to own our own home someday, but where we end up once Jaden is done with school is totally unknown right now. So renters we shall be for the time being! The place we are in right now was built in the 80's. Definitely not my style. But I have tried my best to spruce up the place and make it our own. I'm really into DIY projects and home decor. So decorating out little place has been so fun for me. I know we won't be here forever, but I love to make wherever we are living (even if its a rental) as homey as I can.

Here is a little peak into my living room. A lot of my decor is thrifted or DIY's that were inspiration from Pinterest. I will link all the DIY's I found on pinterest below.

Jaden and my Dad made this TV stand for me. I had my eye on this tv stand I found on Pinterest for over a couple of years. I love it!

My Amazing husband made me this pendant out of embroidery hoops! Doesn't it look so good?! We had a dated chandelier here before that wasn't going with the rest of our stuff and I didn't want to spend a fortune on a brand new orb pendant so we made one ourselves!. I love my hubby for helping me with my crazy projects and being such a good sport about it:)  We got the idea off of pinterest.

You really can make any space work. Even if your renting! I've had a lot of fun letting my creativity flow in this little space we call home.

Back At It

Long time no see! Wow, it has been a while. I actually forgot that I even had a blog. As I was laying in bed the other night, I randomly thought of my long lost blog, and wondered if it still even existed! It took me a couple of tries to log in, and then there it was! I had fun reading though all my old posts. Especially my days of waiting for Jaden to get home from his mission. Brings back so many memories! Man, I'm so glad those waiting days are over!

Well, since I think my last post was almost 3 years ago... A lot has changed! I want to start getting into blogging again. Especially since we now have a 9 MONTH OLD!
I would like to introduce to you, Arden Mae Seely. Man, we love this little girl! She definitely rules our world, and we wouldn't have it any other way. She is so full of sass already, so wish us luck in the coming years! She is already 9 months old. Which is so crazy to us. Getting so close to having a 1 year old. (ugly cry).

Life is good over here at the Seely residence. Jaden is working full time this summer and will return to school this fall. I am so lucky to be able to stay home with my best girl. I'm excited to get back into the blogging world, so one day me and this little girl can look back at these memories.

Love, The Seely's
